Early Detection and Prevention

When a situation you have been putting up with is allowed to fester, it becomes a crisis and an emergency. As such, it requires more time, causes deeper emotional trauma, and frankly, costs you money. A more effective course of action is to be proactive, to create a plan when the first inkling of a larger problem presents itself. If things are just starting to cause concern, our consultants can assist you in early detection and the designing of a primary and secondary plan of action. The primary approach, a “Placement Prevention Program”, might consist of an appropriate nearby therapist, a home contract with your student outlining expectations and consequences, and a local program designed to provide coaching and mentoring to reset your student’s direction and priorities. The secondary approach provides you other options should the original course of action not achieve the hoped for result.
